Inspired by the perennial New York Times bestseller of the same name, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING is a hilarious and heartfelt big screen comedy about five couples whose intertwined lives are turned upside down by the challenges of impending parenthood. Over the moon about starting a family, TV fitness guru Jules and dance show star Evan find that their high-octane celebrity lives don’t stand a chance against the surprise demands of pregnancy. Baby-crazy author and advocate Wendy gets a taste of her own militant mommy advice when pregnancy hormones ravage her body; while Wendy’s husband, Gary, struggles not to be outdone by his competitive alpha-Dad, who’s expecting twins with his much younger trophy wife, Skyler. Photographer Holly is prepared to travel the globe to adopt a child, but her husband Alex isn’t so sure, and tries to quiet his panic by attending a “dudes” support group… Written by Lionsgate

You guys should do a review about the french film A Happy Event (Un Hereux Evenement – 2011). That's a movie with a real depiction of a pregnancy…Just saying ๐Ÿ™‚

    Love this movie alot!

  • One of the best adaptations of a non-fiction source is Mean Girls.

  • Ella SmithMay 3, 2022Reply

    Love it

  • They are right. The movie looked phony and sitcomy.

Yup only watched the first 3 minutes for Cheryl Cole ๐Ÿ™‚ My idol

  • Alonso never likes anything…

  • i came here to see what i "missed" by skipping the movie because of the title and cover and my prejudice toward mainstream comedy. seems it was pretty much as i expected. god modern comedies suck.

    good for you…..

  • My mom knows the director

  • I laughed so hard at 1:00!

  • I hated this. It was fun but it had no point.

There is a Bridesmaids Curse because all the critics infectiously praised that terrible comedy amidst its poor quality, that film is a 4/10 and that's being รผber-generous. In actuality, this and others like it are its sucky spawns, what one may call a curse is in fact a simple cause and effect, praise a terrible film and others will be made like it until you regret buying into the originator.

  • WTF should try reviewing movies outside the narrow choice offered by Hollywood each week, that's the problem here. Hollywood keeps producing these generic, disappointing movies, and WTF just does a variation on the same review each time. It would be good to get outdoors and see the world a bit.

  • Shitty comedy romances can burn in hell.

  • Hahaha, "It just dropped out of me at prom"!

This movie has the love of my life in it, no, for real: ANNA KENDRICK, it best be good!

  • ilikeostMay 3, 2022Reply

    Because it's shit.

  • Mick TravisMay 3, 2022Reply

I prefer to call her J. Ho!

  • Christy Lemire is one my favorite critics and she has some of the best lines in these reviews. She's funnier than most of the movies she reviews.

  • Scale's out of 10.

  • Matt has nice shoes

  • Lol, the ad before this in Japan was a girl receiving what would, in the west, be considered serious abuse at work learning to get over it by reading comics on her new shiny smart phone (the abuse of course remains, but now she is stronger to receive it in silence).

  • Out of 5?

  • Does Alonso even like movies? Did Matt just wake up?

  • When was the last funny Adam Sandler movie? The last funny Eddie Murphy movie? The last funny Chris Rock movie? SMH

  • Christy is hilarious X-D

I believe they were gone those weeks, they didn't come back until Avengers came out

Good discussion! How come you guys didn't review "Think Like a Man"? It was the number one movie at the box office two weeks in a row…?
