At 2:06:25 they show the following weeks schedule of games
    Cincinnati vs Greebay

In that game the bengals were undefeated 2-0 lead by a boy genius named David Shula. a quarterback named Brett Favee made his first nfl start. David Shula would be managing a restaurant 3 years later..While Brett favre was becoming a legend.

What a great game! I wish it was the Super Bowl back then!

  • When wearing #34 or #80 actually meant something

Like so many could-have-been SB matchups over the years, this was a potential SB matchup for the ages. Both of these teams–as constructed–could struggle with great pass rush heavy teams, but–if you didn't have that and they were on on offense–you could be in serious trouble very easily! I think the exception to that was with Buffalo–where you could run it and play keep away on them. San Fran didn't have that weakness on defense as proven with those NFC smash mouth teams they faced. But, San Fran also could not exploit any of Buffalo's critical weaknesses themselves, so this was an UP AND DOWN THE FIELD AFFAIR–if both teams were on! If SF for whatever reason was not on offensively, you could have also had a situation where the AFC flipped the script and blowed an NFC team out in those days!

  • I remember watching this game, some serious inconsistencies with the officiating. Bit at least they were allowed to play a bit.

At the time I didn't realize the announcer called Karl Malone " The Postman"……..🤣🤣🤣

  • Back when the NFL had to share stadiums with baseball teams.

Kick 1:55:30 that Buffalo should have used against KC https://youtu.be/ZyXnCPbK6NI (This game came to mind no punt 1,000 yd dual) after the Josh allen Pat mahomes game but that game was more of a shoot out

  • Every time the analysis picked it to be Buffalo and San Francisco in the Super Bowl they were always wrong

  • L.RMay 6, 2022Reply

Montana would've won the game with a td. Young always choked, only reason 9ers won in 94 was because of Deion

  • Where's the part where an open NBC microphone catches a guy saying "I'll tell you what, that was a heck of freaking game man!"? Only he didn't say the words I used. This occurred when Kelly was kneeling to run out the clock.

  • Jerry Rice only played one quarter this game. Had he stayed in the 49ers would've scored 50+ points. The Bills would've never beaten San Francisco in a Super Bowl. They would've kept it close for about a quarter then a blowout would have ensued.

  • That's a lot of O .

  • Odessa, oh my!!!

I know it is old but wish since this is from the NFL they remastered the game footage and improved the picture quality.

54:23 this play should have been time stamped as well 👍🏼 🏈

  • As a niner fan I remember this game well. I didn’t remember Rice existing early but I don’t think that was the difference. Niners moved the ball at will regardless.
Mike Cofer’s (O-For , as I used to call him ), was the key difference 1/3 on the day , both misses were very makable.

  • I think Jim K is generally rated and thought of where and how he should be .. a very productive and talented QB, with no rings… ditto for Moon.
In the HOF, so … certainly been recognized for his talents

  • John ToddMay 6, 2022Reply

I was a HUGE fan of this Bills team, one of my favorite games of all-time, so many HOFers in this game

  • Young winner man….kelly top player….but loser

  • I remember watching this game. It's one of the greatest games I've ever seen.

  • YogGrooveMay 6, 2022Reply

If Tecmo Bowl had lifelike graphics… it'd look like this game.

  • The white half-sister arguably bomb because mind ethically float unlike a alike meter. jaded, tense poison

  • Perhaps my favorite Bills game ever.

  • Not sure why Haley and Lott got traded during that off season prior to 92, but they weren't the same contenders after this season. And in 94 they had no long term contracts to build on the franchise legacy. The Niners just completely collapsed and never been the same

  • lou NicksMay 6, 2022Reply

These 2 teams really mirrored each other…

    Kelly: 22/43 403 yards 3TD 1INT
    Young: 26/37 449 yards 3TD 1 INT

Both teams had 2 100 yard receivers. The X-factor in this game was probably Thurman Thomas. 85 yards rushing 1 TD and 94 yards receiving 1 TD. Losing Rice early didnt help the 9ers. Overall a game for the ages! Shame these 2 teams never played each other for a Chip….

  • Two all time greats
